Copper by itself is organic approved all
over the world. It has been used as a fungicide and nutrient for ages. Organic growers get multiple advantages when they purchase
our copper ionization systems. They recieve the benifits of descaling for there irrigation lines, the strenght of a powerful
fungicide that has a residual qualities, greater adheasion due to the positive charge of our copper ions and the freedom
to wash there products with our copper ionization system in postharvest. Most of all,, they are dealing with a ppm
of copper ions that is even safe to drink. How organic can you get! Vineyards
also reap the benefits of our agricultural ionization systems.
Downey mildew is a
major disease of grapes throughout the eastern United States. The fungus causes direct yield losses by rotting inflorescences,
clusters and shoots. Indirect losses can result from premature defoliation of vines due to foliar infections. This premature
defoliation is a serious problem because it predisposes the vine to winter injury. It may take a vineyard several years
to fully recover after severe winter injury.
Grapes
Description: Wet-weather
fungus attacks both the leaves and fruit. Small yellow spots initially develop on the upper surface of the leaf.
If you flip the leaf over, you will find a fluffy white growth on the surface. This should not be confused with powdery
mildew that causes a dusty white growth on the upper leaf surface.
Agri Ionization Systems, Inc. can custom build
units to combat problems such as this.

Vineyards have
to deal with mildew, scale and many other problems. Agri copper ionization systems keep a low PPM steady flow
of copper ions to the root system while keeping the lines clear of bioslimes and scale. Our ionization
systems kill Powdery mildew, Downey mildew and root born diseases. It's also used on the field sprayers and to
wash processing rooms down, for hand washes and for other applications. Many vineyard owners are starting to do
their homework and see the advantages that copper ionization systems bring to the table.
